El Hammam - Baños Arabes de Malaga

For only 20 € you can enjoy a bath WITHOUT TIME LIMIT AND WITHOUT BRINGING NOTHING FROM HOME. In reception we´ll give you a pestemal (sarong),a bowl for water, a pair of flip flops... We have also enabled a space with everything you need from shampoos, creams to hair dryers. You´ll leave the hammam baths without carrying any extra clothing or utensil. You´ll be able to continue your day as usual in the city.

Leave your valuables and clothing in the individual lockers. The floor is completely aseptic so you don´t need the use of flip flops. If the customer wants to use them, we can provide them in reception. The use of personal flip flops is not allowed.

Our 100% natural soaps are handmade with no preservatives, chemical perfumes or artificial colors. They are suitable for sensitive skin, being hydrating, emollients and easily removed with water. We have different kinds of soaps. The bath stars taking a shower in the warm room, which is about 45ºC. A dome on the roof attenuates the light and under the dome is situated a large hot octogonal stone where you can sit or lie down. There are also several sinks with hot and cold water flowing around the room, where water is poured over the body with special bowls for it.

This room is the warmest and makes the body raises its temperature and sweats, and open pores. The tempered room is about 40ºC, where the body is cleaned and exfoliated with soap and bath mitt, then refresh yourself in the showers and with the water of the sinks. In this room, our customers spend most of the time because the temperature and ambience are nice. Next, got to the cold room where you can massage yourself with soaps or simply rest and wait the body get refreshed.There are also water sinks and fontains, where water is poured over the body with special bowls for it, the temperature is at 30ºC.

Relaxing music sounds in every room and during the stay in the baths we recommend a low voice. Is not allowed to remove the towel or pestemal for hygiene reasons.The capacity of the baths is 20 to 25 people and has an area of 190 m2. We also have a great lounge to relax after bath.Our masseuses are a team of experts in authentic hammam massages,as done in Turkey and other arab countries. Additionally. we have a dry room for oriental and western massages. Prices depend on duration of massage.
